Blockage located under 4th Street.
Broken culvert pipe.
Another break in the culvert pipe. This is on the fairgrounds, where it turns and then goes to the frog pond.
The culvert was replaced from the frog pond (top of this picture) down toward the shop. No apple trees or apple tree stumps were harmed in the replacement of this culvert. A maple stump was removed though.
Another view of the excavation work.
Another view of the broken culvert. It's difficult to see because of the shadows.
This is the new culvert that Coos County Maintenance Department installed from the frog pond down to the shop. They installed it higher so that sediment from the upper culvert would settle, and not go into the lower culvert.
